About StreetLawPH
StreetLawPH is an organization of lawyers and advocates working for access to justice and protection of human rights. StreetLawPH advocates for a drug policy that protects the rights of people who use drugs and other marginalized groups.

In order to achieve a Philippine society where human rights and access to justice is made available to everyone and the rights of persons who use drugs are respected and protected, StreetLawPH believes that:

There must be a policy environment that enables people who use drugs to access their fundamental rights, including their right to health, as well as harm reduction and legal services;

The stigma against persons who use drugs must be addressed. Communities must be sensitized to human rights and access to justice for all, including the rights of persons who use drugs;

People who use drugs and their communities must be capacitated so they may be able to articulate their access to justice needs, as well their other human rights concerns; and

There must be a pool of legal resources and legal service providers who are sensitized and willing to provide assistance for people who use drugs and their communities in articulating and addressing their access to justice and human rights concerns.
